Forefront Christian Church
Forefront Christian Church is going strong and just celebrated their third birthday. This church in the heart of New York City is reaching out to give back in some amazing ways. Brian Moll and his staff came up with a creative way to celebrate their 3rd birthday. They decided to give away all of their offering one week to 3 different non-profit organizations in the city and worldwide.
People were told of this ahead of time so they would be prepared. The church budget for each week is $7000. On this Sunday they received $27,000! They sent one $9000 check to each of the following organizations: www.leaduganda.org, www.fathersheartnyc.org and www.newmissions.org. It was an incredible act of generosity the church displayed! Their August baptism service saw 7 new Christians baptized with another service planned for November.
A new session of Life Groups launched on September 28th with more than 240 people involved--nearly 75% of the church!
With attendance averaging over 300 in two services, this church in the city is reaching out to show the love of Christ to its community and the world.
