Watermarke: Christ's Church at Bellefonte

Several years ago two families in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania began to envision a new church in their community. Bellefonte is a small town just northeast of State College, Pennsylvania, the home of Penn State University. Bellefonte is dynamic community proud of their Victorian heritage.
The two families shared their vision with the leaders of their home congregation, Howard Christian Church, and the process of a new church plant started. From those two families, there are now 170 people attending Watermarke, a Christian Church. The church held its first services in the spring of 2006. Families give testimony about how God is changing their lives. Most were not attending church before Watermarke.
As the congregations continued to grow, a second staff member, Tim Grasham, was hired to oversee Children’s/Family ministry. The church has reached outward as well with several missions trips to the Dominican Republic, Mexico and New Orleans. The church also continues to be involved in their community by helping with community events and involvement in civic organizations.
Christian Evangelizing Association partnered with the Howard Christian Church, Orchard Group, Passion For Planting, and several other financial, resource and prayer supporters to make this church a reality.
Watermarke already plans to partner with several churches and organizations to plant another church in the coming two years. Jeff Steppe is the Senior Pastor of Watermarke.
