Tithe Back
Each church established by Orchard Group becomes a church-planting church from their very first Sunday. Commonly referred to as a "tithe-back," each new church sets aside a tenth of general offerings for the missional purpose of establishing new churches.
Both in the new church's home region, and throughout the Northeast, each newly planted congregation begins to contribute toward our multiplying movement of church planting. High ownership for future churches nearby, and significant partnerships for churches throughout the region are important values for each new Orchard Group church.
The challenge of our region--the 65 million souls who live in the Northeast--demands our concentration of effort and resources. The global influence of our region assures that churches established here will become world-changers. The momentum we experience encourages all of us to stay on task as we plant healthy and reproducing churches in New York and the Northeast.
